Welcome!

It is my sincere hope as a fellow Master Teacher that this blog and the accompanying Master Teacher Guide document assist you in your undertaking of one of the most pivotal roles in the success of a school's TAP system implementation: The Master Teacher. With this position, you are charged with teaching the teachers about TAP, keeping them motivated to carry out the strategies taught to them in Cluster (by you!), and keeping them positive about the system and its potential to change the culture of the school.

I know, Right? I feel your pain. But honestly, this is the best job in the world, and when you start to see your teachers truly grow professionally, it is worth the headaches it took to get there. :)

A little about the pages on this blog:

  • Each "Course" is one of the four Domains of TAP unless otherwise noted. It can be used for Cluster meetings, as an online forum for discussion, or as an online course for new teachers in your already implemented TAP school.
  • Each Cluster activity is marked with this picture:
  • Each picture of an activity should link you to a Google Document of the activity you may download.
  • If you have any problems or questions, please feel free to contact me: larsens@mccormick.k12.sc.us

Here is the Master Teacher Guide to accompany the activities on this site:
